Chief Executive Officer
Christian Delaire is Chief Executive Officer at AEW Europe and oversees the management of over €17 billion in real estate.
Christian, a French national, brings a wealth of real estate investment management experience. He joins AEW Europe after 15 years with AXA Real Estate Investment Managers, headquartered in Paris, where he most recently served as the Global Head of Fund Management. He was responsible for the oversight and management of €42 billion in assets, and led a pan-European team of 80 professionals. As a member of the firm's executive committee and investment committee, Christian was involved in the overall strategic direction and growth of the company. He joined AXA REIM France in 1994, and rapidly progressed through the organisation from an analyst to positions of increased responsibility, including head of corporate finance, head of arbitrage and head of fund management. He began his career as an auditor with KPMG and holds a graduate degree from ESSEC Business School in Paris.

Director, Investments
Laurent Babelon is Director of Investments in Paris. Laurent was previously the CIO and lead the French investment for separate accounts and funds. He joined from ING Real Estate Investment Management France where he was responsible for the Transactions department and support of asset management activities. Before joining ING in 2006, Laurent was a director of investments at AEW Europe in Paris. Laurent, a law graduate, is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Director of Separate Accounts
Serge Bataillie manages the relationships with separate account clients. Workign closely with teams across the AWE platform, Serge structures the real estate strategy and reporting communication.Serge has been involved in AEW Europe's development since 1999 when he established the first separate accounts and supported the Group's external growth during the acquisitions of A3C, AEW Italia and Curzon in London. Recently, Serge maintained the Luxembourg part of the AEW Europe Group. Since 1988, Serge has had various roles, particularly in the real estate promotions sector. He was also responsible for the management of the real estate arm of the Caisse des Dépôts. Serge has a degree from the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce in Amiens, France.

General Secretary
Mireille Chetioui is AEW Europe's General Secretary. Her responsibilities cover Corporate functions - Corporate Finance and Reporting, Insurance and Risk Management;
Legal, Corporate Development and HR - and support services - Tax structuring and Financing, Legal and third-party Accounting. Mireille has spent much of her career with CDC. Prior to joining AEW Europe, Mireille was the CFO of Ixis Asset Management in Paris where she contributed significantly in their international growth. Before, she was the CFO of Transdev, a pan-European public transportation group owned by CDC.
Mireille graduated from ESCP business school in Paris and is a member of the French Auditors' Association and a chartered surveyor in France.

Chief Operating Officer and Head of Asset Management
Eric Donnet is Chief Operating Officer and Head of Asset Management at AEW Europe. In this capacity, he manages a team of 40 professionals and is in charge of over €17 billion of assets under management.
Prior to joining AEW Europe, Eric was a Director at Bail Investissement, one of the major French real estate listed companies, managing €1.6 billion of assets. He was also Managing Director of Addvim (asset management) and Deltis (property management), two subsidiaries of General Electric Real Estate. Within this role, he managed a team of 60 dedicated professionals based in Paris. He holds the title of French Certified Public Accountant and is a graduate of the ICN business school and has a masters degree from the University of Nancy (France).

Director, Asset Management
François Grandvoinnet is responsible for the asset management of the office and residential properties at AEW Europe and manages €4.4 billion of investments.Before joining AEW Europe, he worked for AXA REIM where he was responsible for a €1 billion portfolio of offices and shopping centres comprising mainly heavily refurbished or under development properties. Previously, François managed the German office of CBRE Investors and asset management for Archon Group. François holds a Masters in Business Administration(MSG) from the Dauphine University in Paris and is graduate in Accountancy( DECF).

Co-Head of Funds Portfolio Management
Jean Lavieille holds the position of Co-Head of Funds Portfolio Management at AEW Europe. In 1989, he joined the real estate department of Caisse des Dépôts. From 1992 to 1997, he implemented the investment policy of CDC in Central Europe, where assets up to €300 million were acquired and transferred in 2002 as seed assets to the PBW Fund. In 1999, he created the fund Logistis I which invested €300 million in grade A buildings over 700,000 sqm. In 2003-2004, Jean created both Logistis II and PREF ; Logistis II raised €220 million and has an investment capacity of €500 million in French, Spanish and Italian grade A logistics. The PREF fund is devoted to investors from the Middle East willing to invest up to €200 million in French real estate. Jean is also responsible for FONDIS, a fund specialised in French high street and out-of-town retail, targeting a total investment of €230 million. Jean is a graduate of Institut National des Sciences Appliquées (INSA) and has completed post graduate courses at the Institut Français de Gestion (IFG) and at INSEAD.

Head of Research & Strategy
Mahdi Mokrane has been Head of Research and Strategy at AEW Europe since 2004. His responsibilities cover investment underwriting, strategic analysis for AEW's various capital pools, publications, investment portfolio construction including acquisitions and disposals and new markets coverage.
Prior to joining AEW Europe, Mahdi worked for IPD in France from 2001 as Director of Research and Training. He was involved in developing portfolio analysis, research and training services in France. Before IPD, Mahdi was Associate Professor of Economics and Finance, University of Cergy, and ESSEC Business School (France) where he taught investment valuation, finance and economics. He also held a consultant position for the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations (CDC) on securitisation issues. His background is in mathematics and statistics (Dauphine University), and he holds a PhD in economics and finance from EHESS. He is a member of several professional and academic organisations: co-chair of INREV's Research Committee, member of the ICSC Europe's Research Group and past President of the French real estate research association (AREIM). Mahdi also sits on the Scientific Council of the EDHEC IEIF Index of French Commercial Real Estate and on the IPD France Index Committee.

Regional Director of Central Europe
Currently Artur Mokrzycki is the Regional Director of Central Europe for AEW Europe. He is in charge of PBW I, a fully invested €600 million real estate fund and for its successor, PBW II Fund, as well as other related asset management companies in Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary and Romania. After completing an MBA at the HEC Group in France in 1992, Artur joined Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations real estate department as a Project Manager responsible for the Central European real estate investment programme. In this capacity he was involved with the development of €240 million of real estate in over the last few years in Prague, Budapest and Warsaw.
Artur graduated as a Civil Engineer in 1983 with honours from Politechnika in Krakow (Poland) and from Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in Paris (postgraduate) in 1985 after which he joined Bouygues Group where he was responsible for various construction projects in France until 1990.
